Nigeria: 'Uduaghan Serving the Electorate Well'

Delta State leaders, under the aegis of The People's Movement, say Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan is serving the electorate well and would not steal government funds or divert such funds into his private accounts.

Reacting to the petition by a group called the Movement for the Protection of the Rights of Deltans (MPROD), the leaders said Uduaghan was committed to developing Delta, stressing that the position of MPROD came as a shock to the good people of the state.

" This administration whose policies have extensively touched on the lives of Deltans deserves the loudest applause for its ingenuity, resilience, steadfastness and purposeful leadership"

The leaders in a statement by the Director of Communications of the People's Movement, Mrs. Ibifuro Tatua, challenged critics of the administration to objectively assess the performance of the governor.

"The administration's programmes are felt in the three senatorial districts and that it has been five years of constructive development in the state", the leaders said.
