A police officer was shot and seriously wounded by unknown assailants in Dandora estate yesterday. Police say they are yet to know those behind the shooting incident that targeted the officer who is admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

The incident happened as ten other officers were shot dead in Baragoi, Samburu County in an ambush as they pursued cattle rustlers. Nine other officers are admitted at the KNH with multiple injuries. Police say they are yet to make any arrest or recover the animals that were robbed in the attack.
