Kenya: New Traffic Rules to Minimize Road Accidents

The new traffic laws assented by president will significantly reduce the rising road carnage in the country. Transport assistant minister Hassan Joho says the new bill to be gazetted next month will minimize deaths on roads by imposing heavy penalties on traffic offenders. He says over 3,000 Kenyans are killed annually due reckless driving especially drunken driving and over speeding.
