Kenya: State Orders Police to Carry Out Arms Disarmament
The government has directed police in Rift Valley to proceed with a planned disarmament exercise in counties affected by cattle rustling.
Rift Valley Provincial Police boss John Mmbjiwe says police would launch a massive operation to disarm bandits and communities in the affected counties including Pokot, Turkana, Baringo, Samburu among others.
