Angola: Moçamedes Railways to Develop Kuando Kubango

Namibe — The governor of the south-eastern Kuando-Kubango province, Higino Carneiro, said on Saturday that Namibe port and Moçamedes Railway Company (CFM) will enable social and economic development of this region, Angop has learnt.

Higino Carneiro said so to the press in the south-west Namibe province, after a meeting with the Vice-President of the Republic, Manuel Vicente, with the governors the provinces of Kuando-Kubango, Huila, Cunene and Namibe.

At the meeting, it was presented matters related the problems of Kuando-Kubango, as well as it was analysed issues linked to administration, training of cadres, drought and development programme of the region.

"The matters presented were analysed and debates will continue in Luanda", he said.
