Egypt: Public Prosecution Restores EGP 11 Billion Pounds of Looted Funds

The Public Prosecution said on Saturday 10/11/2012 it has succeeded in restoring EGP 11bn of funds that were looted under the former regime of ousted president Hosni Mubarak.

Efforts are underway to restore another 50 billion pounds after conviction rulings have been issued in some complaints against ex-regime members, said assistant Prosecutor General counselor Adel el-Saeed.
