Mr. Yemane Tsegai, head of HIV/AIDS control in the region, pointed out that VCT service is being rendered by 40 health institutions at regional level, thus making significant impact in the control of communicable diseases, especially HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Kesetebirhan Solomon, head of the Ministry's branch in Anseba region, explained that such training is supplementary to a program being launched with a view to attaining zero mother-infant HIV transmission by the year 2015.

The trainees expressed conviction that the practical and theoretical aspects of the training are valuable in their career.
