Kenya: Police Officers Shot By Raiders

Seven police officers attached to the Turkana police post were yesterday shot dead and 20 others seriously injured when fierce fighting broke out between them and armed raiders in Baragoi Samburu North county.

The officers were ambushed when a group of men approached them and opened fire. The injured were flown to Nairobi for treatment.
