Eritrea: Vegetable Farming Expressed Demands Patience and Sustainable Effort

Abe — Vegetable farming is profitable activity that demands patience and sustainable effort, Mr. Shiham Ahaw, exemplary vegetables farmer in Abe, Dankalia sub-zone, expressed.

He explained from his experience that vegetable farming is profitable activity that does not demand huge investment.

He further indicated that he has been able to expand his vegetables farming through his personal effort and with the advice from farming experts and that he has been able to supply his products to the local market.

Mr. Mohammed Redo who got the opportunity of employment in the farm expressed satisfaction for the opportunity he was provided and that his livelihood has improved.
