Nigeria: Blue House Wins Parliament School Inter-House Competition

The Blue House on Saturday won the maiden edition of the Parliament International School Inter-House Sports Competition held at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment. Blue House garnered 25 medals, made up of 10 gold, five silver and 10 bronze medals to take the first position ahead of Yellow, Green and Red Houses.

Yellow House took the second position with eight gold, seven silver and eight bronze medals; Green House came third with seven gold, 11 silver and three bronze medals while Red House placed fourth with six gold, six silver and nine bronze medals.

Speaking at the occasion, Chairman of the school's Board of Director Alhaji Abdullahi Yelwa urged the students and teachers of the four houses to exhibit sportsmanship during the games by accepting defeat and conducting themselves in an orderly manner during then games.

Also speaking to Trustsports after the games, Proprietress of the school, Hajia Hadiza Abdullahi promised to make the competition an annual one, saying she was impressed with the performance of the students.
