Nigeria: Shell Shuts 25,000 Barrels Trunkline

Lagos — The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd said yesterday that it has shut down the Imo River Trunkline in its Eastern operations after it found several crude thefts on the facility.

Spokesman of Shell, Tony Okonedo said production of 25,000 barrels of oil per day is deferred.
