Nigeria: Terrorism - Cleric Warns Against Reprisal Attacks

Lagos — The use of weapons as solution to the incessant bomb attacks on harmless Nigerians in some northern parts of the country has been described as baseless in proffering a lasting solution to terrorism in the country.

This is just as Christians in the bomb -torn areas have been advised not to resort to reprisal but rather, forgive the assailants, as a demonstration of the mandate of the Almighty God to love one's enemies.

This was the position of the Director of Chaplain Services of the Nigerian Army, Colonel Dawuk Danfulani, weekend, at the occasion of the 2012 Chaplain Protestant Annual Training Week, Retreat and Seminar with the theme 'End Time Happenings and Contemporary Challenges: Way Out', in Lagos.
