South Sudan Media Calls for Reflection On 'International Standards' in Draft Bills

Juba — Various South Sudanese media outlets have called on the government to ensure that draft bills reflect international standards, uphold good governance and spread system of accountability in all public and private institutions.

At a four day training programme organised by the Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJoSS) in Juba in October, a group of senior journalists talked about the challenges the industry is facing and called on the state to ensure the draft media bill meets international standards.
