Uganda: Cecafa Fixtures Expected Today

This year's Cecafa Tusker Cup starts taking shape today with release of the tournament fixtures.

The Council of East and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa) General Secretary Nicholas Musonye will conduct the draws at Serena Hotel.

The two-week tournament kicks off on November 24.

Musonye arrived in Kampala yesterday to embark on the pre-event preparations. The fixtures will be made at Serena Hotel's Addidos Hall starting at 10am.

On arrival in Kampala, Musonye held a meeting with the local organising committee.

He will also meet tournament sponsors East African Breweries Limited officials on Monday morning before addressing a press conference at 1pm.

After releasing the fixtures, he will visit all the hotel facilities booked for teams and officials and pay a courtesy call to Namboole stadium management.

His day ends with another meeting to be attended by the members of the marketing committee.
