Egypt: Environment Ministry, State Information Service Sign Cooperation Protocol

State Minister for Environmental Affairs Mostafa Hussein Kamel and Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Ambassador Mohammed Badr el-Din signed on Sunday 11/11/2012 a cooperation protocol to curb the negative effects of environmental contamination.

The ministry and SIS will intensify cooperation with the view to achieve their joint goals, topped by exchanging experiences and making best use of the available capabilities of the two sides, said Bader el-Din.

The Minister of Environment confirmed the importance of investing in agricultural waste recycling projects and building the capacity of municipal agencies because of their good revenue in addition to its role in preserving the environment.
