Police investigations reveal that over 1,120 vehicles were reported stolen last year and haven't been recovered.The Inspector of Motor Vehicles Francis Meja says the disappearance of vehicles is costing owners millions of shillings in losses.
He says unsuspecting Kenyans may end up buying these vehicles only to end up in trouble when police finally trace it as transfers aren't done according to law.
