Women are being urged to turn up for police recruitment. Usalama reforms forum coordinator Philip Onguje says the last recruitment fell short of the gender balance because women failed to show up. The recruitment exercise will be done before the end of this month and is looking to recruit 7,000 officers ahead of the elections.
