Kenya: Shilling Opens the Week Weaker to the Dollar
By Joan Wairimu, 12 November 2012
The shilling opened the week weaker to the dollar with traders expecting it to be in a tight range this week, as we enter the tourism peak season, and the recent move
by the central bank to lower the lending rates. The shilling was posted at 85.40/50 to the dollar, slightly weaker than Friday's close of 85.30/50.
