Rwanda: Region Fifa Rankings Still Low

Kigali — Rwanda was moved two steps up on the new FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released on Wednesday last week.

The Amavubi Stars, team is now ranked at 122nd two positions above the previous position.

In Africa, Rwanda is ranked thirty seventh and fourth in Cecafa region coming behind Uganda, Ethiopia and Sudan.

A goal less draw with Namibia last month was also put in account for the current ranking.

Uganda moved up four positions to 86th and 22 in Africa while Ethiopia also improved 16 places to 102 and 28 and jointly tied on with Sudan which moved two places down.

Spain still top the rankings with Germany second and Argentina moving in third. Africa's top ranked nation is Cote d'Voire at 15th.

Kenya dropped two places to position 130 while Tanzania slipped two places to 134 in the FIFA rankings.
