Eritrea: Training Course Organized for Needy Youths in Agordat Sub-Zone

Agordat — A number of needy youths in Agordat sub-zone became beneficiaries of a one-year training that was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare's branch pertaining to blacksmithing, auto mechanics and electricity.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Bereket Gondar, head of the branch office, stated that the beneficiaries have been provided with pocket money in the course of the training. Moreover, he called on them to work hard to improve their livelihood on the basis of the skills they have acquired, and on fellow inhabitants to collaborate with them.

The beneficiaries of the training lauded the government's commitment towards improving the livelihood of citizens.

Mr. Bereket pointed out that the branch office is conducting research regarding the implementation of programs drawn up with a view to rehabilitating war-disabled veterans.
