Ethiopia: 700 Somali Soldiers Finish Their Training in Hudur

A total of 700 Somali soldiers graduated from a training camp at Hudur in Bakool region on Sunday (November 11th).

The troops had finished a five month training program run by Ethiopian officers and covering a variety of military skills.

The District Commissioner, Mohamed Moalim Ahmed, urged the trainees to be responsible and uphold Somalia's rule of law in their efforts to establish peace in the region. The newly trained troops will be deployed against Al-Shabaab.

A few days earlier another 500 soldiers graduated from training at Baidoa, the capital of neighboring Bay region.
