Kenya: ODM Leaders Demand Jobs

Kakamega county ODM secretary has said Western region will back PM Raila Odinga for president if he promises to give government jobs to the people.

"We are engaged in negotiations with Raila so that our people can benefit from jobs left vacant by senior civil servants who resigned to contest elective seats in the general election," Martin Andati said yesterday. He is the Raila's presidential campaign co-ordinator for Western province.

He was speaking at a meeting for aspirants for various seats in Kakamega town on Saturday. Andati was accompanied by county chairman David Malala.
