Kenya: Kendagor's Plea On Cattle Raids

PRESIDENTIAL aspirant James Kandagor has called on the pastoral communities to end cattle rustling. Kandagor, who is vying as an independent candidate, said cattle rustling will end if the communities adopt new ways of farming.

He was speaking yesterday while campaigning at Kipsaraman in Baringo. He said ranching is the only solution to combat the menace that has persisted for a long time.

"You have been practising the keeping of livestock as an individual and you have known the consequences. Taking you livestock to a ranch will be a positive move in doing away with this problem," Kandagor said.
