Kenya: Africa Cancer Foundation Launches Booklets

The Africa Cancer Foundation on Friday morning launched a series of family and patient-friendly cancer information booklets in partnership with the Safaricom Foundation.

The first four books that were unveiled in a series of seven include Radiation Therapy and You, Chemotherapy and You, Eating Hints and Taking Time that provide useful information on cancer and cancer management.

The event took place at the Michael Joseph Centre, Safaricom House, on Waiyaki Way in Nairobi. In attendance were former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph and Medical Services minister Anyang' Nyong'o. Nyong'o is the chairman of the Africa Cancer Foundation and was accompanied by its director Dorothy Nyong'o.
