Angola: Governor Honours Heroes in Ndalatando

Ndalatando — The governor of the northern Kwanza Norte province, Henrique André Júnior, held on Sunday in Ndalatando city a pilgrimage to the local cemetery, where he laid a wreath on unknown soldier's tomb, aiming to pay homage to the heroes that died in the armed struggle for the conquest of the national independence on 11 November in 1975.

The pilgrimage counted on the participation of various individualities of the provincial government, MPs, chieftains and representatives of various organizations of the local civil society.

After the event, the governor Henrique Júnior travelled to Samba-Cajú district, where he chaired a rally under the festivities of the 37th anniversary of the national independence.

The celebrations of national independence in Kwanza Norte were marked by various sport, recreational and cultural activities that happened simultaneously in several districts of the province.
