Nigeria: Kano Hisbah Confiscates 7,710 Litres of Liquor

Kano — The Kano state Hisbah Board Thursday confiscated an estimated 7,710 litres of liquor making substance stuffed in dozens of plastic barrels and jerry cans in Bebeji local government area of the state.

The Director-General of the board Sheik Abba Sufi who revealed this to Daily Trust yesterday said the vehicle carrying the substance was intercepted by a team of hisbah personnel at Dakatsalle village in the area while trying to gain entry into the city.
