Somalia: Two Civilians Killed in Bosasso, Northern Somalia

Bosasso — Assailants in Somalia's northern port and commercial city of Bosasso have shot to death at least two local civilians during overnight surprise attack, reports said.

Eyewitnesses told Shabelle Media by phone from the city on Tuesday that two civilians were killed by unknown men armed with pistols who managed to escape from the scene after the murder.

Puntland security forces reached at the area in the heart of Bosasso, where happened the shooting and seized un-specified number of suspects and were taken into custody for further investigations into the killing.

Bosasso sets along the coast of the Gulf of Aden and it has been witnessing such coordinated killings against officials and civilians and no one was captured and tried over the repeated killings in the city.
