Ghana: KYZZ FM Fetes Muslims at Family Feast

Hundreds of Muslims were on Saturday treated to some good meals, drinks and Islamic tunes when they converged at the Takoradi Jubilee Park for the third Eid ul Adha family feast event.

The event, which is the initiative of Kyzz 89.7FM, a Takoradi-based radio station, has been running annually for the past three years.

The attendance was massive, with lots of exciting with activities like Quranic recitations, Dagomba cultural display, scrabble, fun-games/competition and a host of others.

By 10:00 a.m., Muslims within Kwesimintsim, Kojokrom, Shama, Takoradi, Effiekuma, Sekondi and other communities had started trooping in with their families for the feast.

In his opening remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Kyzz FM, Alfred Kwame Baah, reiterated the station's commitment to the Muslim community, and commended them for the attendance.

According to Mr. Baah, KYZZ FM had special affection for the Muslim community, and assured them that the existing relations would be sustained in the years ahead.

He further urged them to look forward to other interactive Muslim-centered programmes in the years ahead.
