Angola: Music and Cultural Show Marks Independence Festivities

Geneva — Fribourg Canton (Switzerland) hosted last Saturday a music and cultural show, under the festivities of the 37th anniversary of the proclamation of the national independence, marked on 11 November.

The activity was opened by the Angolan ambassador to Switzerland Osvaldo Varela, who highlighted the importance of the date and deeds achieved by the country in various domains, besides music and dance.

The event count on the parade of traditional fashion, performance of traditional group of Kilandukilo, artists Gisela Silva and Eddy Tussa.

The activities started with the inauguration of an exhibition of art and painting that ended with an official dinner for diplomatic body accredited in Switzerland.
