Luanda — The minister for Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UK and North Ireland, Mark Simmonds, will start on Wednesday a 24-hour visit to Angola, under the reinforcement of the bilateral relations.
According to a press note from the UK embassay that reached Angop on Tuesday, the UK minister says Angola has recorded the greatest economic development and growth in the African continent in the last 10 years.
During his visit, Mark Simmonds will discuss with Angolan authorities and civil society issues related to investment, cooperation and exchange of experiences.
Angop learnt that his main focus will be the cooperation in the area of investments in Africa and Exchange of commercial experience.
This is the first time that the UK official visits Angola.
