Angola: Ambassador to UK Calls On Angolans to Return Home

London — The ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Miguel Gaspar Neto, called on national citizens to return to the country voluntarily, in order to make a contribution to the national reconstruction and country's development, ANGOP has learnt.

The diplomat said so when speaking to national citizens residing in Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffields, Leeds, Liverpool and Stock-on Trent, under the commemorations of the 37th anniversary of the country's independence.

On the occasion, Miguel Neto mentioned the trajectory for the conquest of the independence, gains of the peace, as well as the economic growth that has been recorded in Angola, the business opportunities and the government strategy for the well-being of the populations, represented by the motto of the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, according to which "Let us grow more and distribute better".

The ambassador called on the community leaders for greater collaboration with the consular and diplomatic missions.
