Egypt: Environment Ministry, SIS Sign Cooperation Protocol 11/11/2012

State Minister for Environmental Affairs Mostafa Hussein Kamel and Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Ambassador Mohammed Badr el-Din Zayed signed on Sunday 11/11/2012 a cooperation protocol to curb the negative effects of environmental contamination.

The ministry and SIS will enhance cooperation with the view to achieving their joint goals, topped by exchanging experiences and making best use of the available capabilities of the two sides, said ambassador Zayed.

Kamel also confirmed the importance of investing in agricultural waste recycling projects and building the capacity of municipal agencies given their high revenue in addition to preserving the environment.
