Egypt: SIS Head Inaugurates Workshop On Protecting Environment in Port Said 12/11/2012

Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Mohamed Badr el-Dein Zayed will open in Port Said on 12/11/2012 Monday a workshop to discuss mechanisms of protecting Egypt's environment.

Nile centers in a number of governorates, a German institute, Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency and civil society organizations as well as the ministries of environment, water resources, agriculture and education will participate in the workshop.

The main aim of the event is to set a work plan for Nile centers to address environment issues and to start with a national campaign to save Egypt's environment, Zayed said.
