Kenya: Strath and Equity Promoted to the National Basketball League

EQUITY Bank and Strathmore University gained promotion to the national division next year. The two Nairobi Basketball Association giants battled in the inter provincial play offs finals at Muranga Teachers Training College with the bankers beating the students 55-32.

Ian Wachiye and Goddfey Abuya pepped the winners with 15 points each while Jeremy Opiyo managed to bag 16 points for the losers who had coach Tony Ochieng sent to the stands.
