Kenya Prisons coach David Lungaho says he will be going flat out to reclaim the Kenya Volleyball League title when the league play offs go down at the Nyayo Stadium this weekend.
Prisons lost the title TO long time adversaries Kenya Pipeline last year and Lung'aho believes he has what it takes to wrestle it back. Prisons face Pipeline, KCB and Nairobi Water in the women's race to the title while defending champions General Service Unit, last year's runners-up Kenya Prisons, Ulinzi and Forest Rangers will battle it out in the men's competition.
"We must finish the year with a win," said Lung'aho. "We have been training so hard after our return from Doha and the team is in good shape. Prisons had another unsuccessful outing at the FIVB club championships where they lost all their matches and Lung'aho believes winning the local gong will be consolation enough. "We have to take it (title) from them (Pipeline)," he said. "We have met them several times this year where we have come out winners."
