Kenya: Lutan Fyah Shoots Video in Diani

Jamaican reggae artiste Lutan Fyah was in Diani, South Coast, shooting his video titled Poverty last Friday. The artiste was accompanied by singer STL, producer Ken Ring and video directors from Sweden.

The artiste visited some of the impoverished areas in Kwale county. Ken Kiprono, popularly known as Ken Ring, is a music producer who runs a football club for poor youths in Diani. He is set to open an international recording studio, Ring Resort, in Diani soon.

"I like Kenyan people, we want to show the world that poverty is a sombre concern that should be dealt with exclusive of fear. l left behind a series of shows but since I had decided to shoot this video in Kenya, I had no alternative," Lutan Fyah said.

Word Is has also learnt that the Jamaican artiste is in talks with STL, real name Stella Mwangi, and soon they will be releasing a track. Stella declined to comment on the deal . "It's still early to comment on that," she said.
