Kenya: Ugandans Back Poghisio for Senate

Cabinet minister Samwel Poghisio was yesterday endorsed by leaders from Amudat county of Uganda to vie for senetor in West Pokot county.

Amudat governor William Bwatum Loram and the National Resistance Movement chairperson Lotem Linus promised to campaign for Poghisio.

The two were accompanied by 20 civic leaders led by the chairman of Pokot County Council David Moiben and former Kapenguria Mayor Jacob Samuli.

They campaigned for the minister in Kishaunet, Nasokol and Tilak locations in Kapenguria constituency. Bwatum urged the Pokots in Pokot County to unite and vote as a block for Phogisio.
