Eritrea: Abe Inhabitants Express Satisfaction With Potable Water Supply

Assab — The inhabitants of Abe village, Afambo Administrative area, voiced satisfaction with potable water supply.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Laisani Ahaw, Ms. Kuhula Ahmed and Mr. Halo Hamedu explained that they are in a position to improve their livelihood upon the availability of such social service facilities and resort to community-based style of living. Moreover, they indicated that they have started to engage in small-scale farming on the basis of water supply from the facility, and said that they would utilize it prudently.

Abe village is located around 300 Km. north-west of the port city of Assab.
