Angola: Defence Ministry to Prioritise Training of Staff in Five-Year Term

Luanda — The Minister of National Defence, Cândido Van- Dúnem, said this Tuesday in Luanda that one of the priorities of his sector for the next five years is the training of staff, taking into account that the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) is under a modernisation process.

The official said so during a press conference, under the celebrations of 11 and 12 November dedicated to the celebrations of the 37th anniversary of the proclamation of national independence and the establishment of the National Defence Ministry.

At the International organisation, where Angola is member state, the country has been able to meet the commitments, such as ECCAS and SADC.

According to him, all efforts made in the international community were supported by the government so that Angola honours its commitments and feel able to continue to honour them at different levels.
