Angola: Ambassador to Namibia Hails Nationals' Efforts for Independence

Oshakati — Angola's ambassador to Namibia, Manuel Alexandre Rodrigues "Kito" praised the efforts and sacrifice made by the Angolans in the conquest of the Angolan independence, Angop has learnt.

The head of the diplomatic mission said so in the commemorations act of the 37th anniversary of the country's independence, marked on November 11.

He reminded that the independence we are celebrating was fruit of a great sacrifice of children of Angola that under the leadership of Dr Agostinho Neto abandoned their families, accepting to live in the bush and support the demands of climates, many times walking under heavy rains and hard sun.
