Angola: Official Hails Work for Fighting Domestic Violence

Luena — The provincial director of family and Woman Promotion in the eastern Moxico province, Domingas Cecília Bento, said that her sector will invest in the fight against domestic violence within the family, as a reflection on the guarantee of social stability in communities, Angop has learnt.

The source said that the works will be directed in awareness of the society against the paternal denial and batteries that tend to increase within the members of the family.

She said that sector will also invest in the re-structuring of female associations, incentive to women to adhere actions of the government that aim at fighting hunger and poverty.
