Angola: Government Involvement in Citizens' Patriotic Education Guaranteed

Benguela — The vice governor of the central Benguela province for Economic Affairs, Agostinho Estêvão Felizardo, guaranteed this Sunday the involvement of the government in actions aimed for patriotic education of citizens.

The vice governor spoke during the mass under the celebrations of the 37th anniversary of the national independence day, marked on 11 November.

He said that the government will always count on the support of churches in the retrieval and respect of civic and citizenship values.

The governor considered that the defense to love the motherland and compliance with public institutions and national symbols should be a duty of all citizens regardless of their political membership, race, religion or ethnicity.
