Nigeria: Akinjide - FCT SURE-P to Employ 10,000 Women, Youths by December 31

The Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide, has disclosed that the FCT administration (FCTA) would employ about 10,000 women and youths under its Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) before the end of this year.

Akinjide stated this Tuesday in Abuja when she received in her office members of the FCT Chapter of the National Council of Women's Societies led by the President, Mrs. Nancy Godwin Bulus.

She explained that the FCTA had established a Project Implementation Unit for the programme towards empowering and training women and youth in different skills and vocation.
