Nigeria: Representatives to Investigate Indiscriminate Issuance of Drivers' Licence

The Federal House of Representatives has directed the committee on FRSC to investigate the indiscriminate issuance of driver's licence to motorists.

Moving the motion, Hon.Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi (Imo state) said that the aim of the motion was to ensure sanity on most Nigerian roads. He noted that the driver's licence regime had been commercialised to the extent that it could be acquired from the road side.
