Angola: Handball Teams Leave for Morocco for African Cups

Luanda — The senior males and females teams of 1º de Agosto, as well as the female team of Petro de Luanda, are to arrive this Wednesday in Tanger City, Morocco, where they will dispute, until November 25, the African champions clubs cup in handball.

The three teams have fulfilled training programmes in Europe, namely Hungary (Petro de Luanda and Spain (1º de Agosto). 1º de Agosoto's male team carried out the first stage of the programme in Tunisia and the second one in Portugal.

Petro de Luanda, coached by Vivaldo Eduardo, will try to retain the title, while 1º de Agosto, who reached the final in the previous edition, will also vie for the main trophy.
