Angola: Zambia Wants to Strengthen Cooperation Ties With Angola

Lusaka — The Zambian government reiterated the wish of cooperating actively with the Angolan executive for the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries.

This was said on Monday by the Zambian Vice- minister of Interior, Alfreda Kansembe, during the ceremony of the celebration of the 37th anniversary of the Angolan independence in Lusaka.

In representation of Given Lubinda, Zambian Foreign Affairs, Alfreda Kansembe said that Zambia and Angola have a lot to share and transmit experiences of each one in the social and economic sectors.

"The Cooperation Joint Standing Commission was established between our two countries and it needs to be fully functional", she said.

Alfreda Kansembe seized the occasion to congratulate the Angolan people on the 37th anniversary of the independence, peaceful general elections, economic growth and social development.
