Namibe — The Angolan writer Kanguimbo Ananás held on Wednesday a sale and autograph signing session on her latest book entitled "As férias de Yahula", in the south-west Namibe province.
The act counted on the presence of the provincial governor of Namibe, Isaac dos Anjos, officials of the local government, scholars and members of the civil society.
The book, which was released on 14 July in Luanda, comprises 31 pages and it is being solda t the price of AKZ 1000.
The book portrays the history of two young students, who are on holidays, decided to work voluntarily in one of the shops of their village to acquire additional knowledge.
With this book, the author intends to instil in children and teenagers the civic, moral and affection values that they learn from parents, at schools and society in general.
Born on 3 February in 1959 in Namibe province, Kanguimbo Ananás is a psychologist, poetess, writer and member of the Angolan Writer Union (UEA).
