Nigeria: Fire Safety Group Engages 774,000 Youths in Rescue Operations

Kaduna — Fire Safety and Environmental Surveillance of Nigeria (FISESUN), a non-governmental organization is to recruit 774000 youths in the 774 local governments of the country on rescue operations.

The youth, who will be paid under the Federal government Sub-reinvestment and empowerment programme (SUR-P), the Commissioner-General of FISESUN Umar-Umar Macima, told Daily Trust yesterday in Kaduna.

He said the partnership will ensure community security vigilant and provide direct job to 100 youths in each of the local government.
