JOHAN Venter won the Shooting Union of Namibia's annual Most Talented Shooter of the Year competition on Saturday.
Venter earned the accolade for his mastery as a .22 Silhouette shooter.
Pistol shooter Michael Bartlewski got second place, with Norman Dentlinger and Michael Jaeger, also pistol shooters, finishing joint third.
The event, held at the Luiperdsvallei Shooting Range, gives the public and members of affiliated shooting clubs the opportunity to test their talent in the various shooting disciplines Namibia has to offer.
A full house of 40 shooters turned out for the competition.
