Gambia: New Police Post Inaugurated in Fajikunda

A new police post at Fajikunda built by Modou Turo Darboe was recently inaugurated. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mbemba Gassama, the councilor of FajiKunda Ward, thanked Modou Turo Darboe for the gesture, saying the new police post will help reduce crime in the community. He also commended personnel of the Gambia Police Force for providing good security for the people.

For his part, the commissioner of Police, Biran Mbye, thanked Modou Turo Darboe for his contribution towards the development of the country, saying that the police post is here to serve the community of Fajikunda and The Gambia as a whole. He urged the people to keep informing the police in order to make their work easier.

Dodou Njie, the alkalo of Fajikunda, also thanked Modou Toro Darboe for the gesture, noting that a good citizen should always work for development of his or her nation.
